Selections from Three Hundred

A compilation of my articles organised by topic.
Having celebrated my third year of regular online writing a few months ago, I am now sharing my three hundredth article. With this in mind, I once again took the opportunity to look back. I’ve identified certain categories and selected one article from each year to share with you.
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, creating topic-based archives is an important part of my life. Dividing every completed post into sections and saving them in an organised manner is useful. For this reason, I’d like to recommend this approach once again. While looking through the archives, I asked myself which articles I would choose for a "to-read" list.
Of course, it’s difficult to select just a few from three hundred articles, or even one hundred. So I’ve decided to make my selections based on the topics I consider relevant.

Let’s take a look at the topic headings and a selection of articles I wrote between June 2023 and August 2026:
1. Writing Techniques & Practical Advice
2. Writing, Motivation & Mental Processes
3. Authors & Memorial Essays
2024: https://www.awordweaver.net/post/remembering-the-timeless-literature-giant-herbert-george-wells
4. Books, Reading, the Reader’s Experience
2023: https://www.awordweaver.net/post/the-impact-of-seasonal-changes-on-reading-writing-and-mental-health
5. Foreign Languages, Language Structure, Translations
6. Literary Genres (Science Fiction, Fantasy, etc.) and Motifs
7. My Writing Journey & Personal Style (Poetry, Short Stories, etc.)
8. Art Forms (Cinema, Music, Painting, etc.)
9. Philosophy, Meaning, Questioning
10. The Digital World, Technology, Algorithms
2026: https://www.awordweaver.net/post/the-aesthetic-trap-of-digital-culture & https://www.awordweaver.net/post/gamified-life-and-disconnection-from-the-self
11. National and Public Holidays, Atatürk
At such turning points, I would, of course, review my writing, but I had never considered selecting individual pieces before. It's more exhausting than one might think. It can be difficult to judge your own work fairly. While you can be more honest when the time comes, you may sometimes approach it from an emotional perspective. I’m not entirely sure where the balance lies, but I’m happy with my choices. I hope you enjoy reading the articles on topics that interest you. Happy reading!
